I don’t use generative AI (e.g. Chat GPT, Claude etc.) in any of my editing and I do not want to work on manuscripts that have utilised generative AI for any part of the writing of the novel, including drafting.

Human creativity is a wonderful, precious thing, and I want to use my skills, experience and empathy on stories invented and written by people.

Using generative AI as a tool for research, brainstorming, organising ideas, checking facts etc. is fine by me if you choose to use it in this way.
