Hi. I’m Lauren. I work with aspiring and established authors from across the globe, from my home on the picturesque Central Coast on Australia’s eastern seaboard.
I specialise in working on commercial fiction – the books people want to read; the fun stuff: popular and genre novels. Genres I work on include: women’s fiction, romance, crime and thrillers, and historical fiction. If you have written a gripping story with plot and character at its heart, I can help you improve and prepare your story, and get it ready for publication either as an independent writer (self-publishing) or on submission to an agent or publisher.
My job is to make your manuscript the best it can be. I love what I do, and I’m good at it! I’m calm, friendly, supportive and have a dry sense of humour. I have empathy and imagination, and will work with you to help you take your novel where you want it to go – whether that is to a small group of people, or the world.
My clients include: aspiring authors, independent (self-published) authors, and publishers in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and USA.
I am a Professional IPEd member, a CIEP UK member, and can work in Australian, British and North American English. I am also on the board and committee of the Words on the Waves Writers Festival.
